    Dear Colleagues,

     

    Thank you to everyone who joined us for the AZA webinar, Advancing Elephant Care and Management: Proposed Updates to the AZA Elephant Accreditation Standards.

     

    If you weren't able to attend, the webinar is now available for viewing on AZA Learn. Additionally, we've prepared a PDF version of the presentation, complete with speaker notes, for those who prefer a downloadable reference.  If you would like to see the full definitions of optional care and thriving, you can find them attached.

     

    We encourage you to review both the webinar and the PDF, and we welcome any questions or comments you may have regarding the proposed updates to the standards for elephant care and management.  Please send all feedback to animalprograms@aza.org by Monday, April 28.
