    At the end of March, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service published its final ESA section 4(d) rule for African elephants that went into effect May 1, 2024. AZA has created a summary and FAQ on this rule and its impact on AZA members. It is attached here and posted on the website under "Federal Agencies: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service".
